Direct Answer
An official electronic travel document issued by Vietnam's Immigration Department, valid up to 90 days, with genuinely four combinations available: 30 or 90 days, single or multiple entry. Applied for entirely online, at evisa.gov.vn or through an agency for document review and priority processing.

The Four Genuine e-Visa Types
| Type | Fee |
|---|---|
| 30-day single entry | $25 |
| 30-day multiple entry | $50 |
| 90-day single entry | $25 |
| 90-day multiple entry | $50 |
Since 30-day and 90-day validity cost the same within each entry type, 90 days is usually the better default even for a shorter planned trip — it costs nothing extra and gives genuine flexibility if plans change.
Visa on Arrival (VOA), Briefly
A separate route: an approval letter arranged in advance, then a stamp issued in person at the airport for a cash fee. Despite the name, it isn't a walk-up option — the letter must be arranged before you fly.
- Airport-only — unlike the e-visa's 83 nationwide entry points (air, land, sea)
- Validity: typically 1–3 months depending on the specific approval
- Both single and multiple entry available
Who Can Apply
Citizens of 80+ eligible countries, applying from outside Vietnam, either directly online or through an agency. Requirements:
- Passport valid 6+ months from your entry date
- Not falling under entry restriction categories per Vietnam's Immigration Law
The government fee is paid online and is non-refundable under any circumstances, including rejection.

What We Genuinely Add
- Document review that catches the errors (name mismatch, invalid passport, poor-quality photos) most likely to cause delay
- Priority processing tiers for travelers with less lead time
- Support via Email, WhatsApp, and phone
- Updates as soon as your visa is issued, or if something needs correcting
If It's Outside Working Hours
Standard processing depends on Vietnamese government working hours, Monday to Friday — not a 24/7 process, including for priority tiers. A separate weekend service, or a boarding letter as a last resort, applies outside those hours.
Real Pricing
| Processing Time | Fee |
|---|---|
| Standard (4–6 days) | $50 |
| 3 days | $90 |
| 30–60 minutes (fastest) | $215 |
