Direct Answer
The genuinely cheapest route is applying directly at evisa.gov.vn — just the $25–50 government fee, no service fee at all. Through an agency like us, expect $50 and up for document review plus the same government fee. Below: the real cost breakdown, without a "guaranteed results" overclaim.

The Real, Honest Cost Breakdown
| Route | Total Cost |
|---|---|
| Direct at evisa.gov.vn | $25 (single) / $50 (multiple) — cheapest possible |
| Our standard service | $50 (government fee + document review) |
| Our urgent tiers | $90–$215 depending on speed |
If budget is the only priority and your trip is 10+ days away, applying directly is genuinely the cheapest option — there's no meaningful downside for a traveler in that situation. An agency's value is document review and speed, not a lower price than the government portal itself.

Tips for Budget Travelers
- Apply at least 10 Vietnamese working days ahead to avoid needing a paid urgent tier
- Double-check passport validity — 6+ months from your entry date
- Confirmed flight or hotel bookings aren't required to apply
- Print one copy of your approved e-visa, and keep a digital copy on your phone as backup
What No Agency Can Honestly Guarantee
Be cautious of any service promising "money-back if denied" or "guaranteed results." No agency, including us, can guarantee an approval outcome — that decision belongs to Vietnamese immigration alone. What we can honestly commit to: if we miss the specific processing timeframe you paid for, the fee comes back in full — a genuinely different thing from guaranteeing the government's decision.
Why Budget Travelers Choose Our Support
Transparent, full-total pricing shown upfront, document review before submission, and a public review record you're welcome to verify yourself — 4.9 out of 5 across 150+ Trustpilot reviews, checkable independently on the platform itself.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does the cheapest Vietnam e-visa option cost?
Applying directly at evisa.gov.vn costs just the government fee: $25 single-entry or $50 multiple-entry. Through our service, with document review included, standard processing starts at $50 total.
Is a refund guaranteed if my visa is denied?
No — no agency can guarantee approval or a refund tied to the approval decision, since Vietnamese immigration makes that call. A refund can honestly apply to a missed processing timeframe, not the outcome.
Is there really no hidden fee?
Our pricing shows the full total upfront, government fee included — no separate line items appear later. Confirm any service you use shows the complete total before you pay, not just a partial fee.
How far in advance should I apply to avoid rush pricing?
At least 10 Vietnamese working days for standard processing at the lowest tier — this also gives buffer for a correction if something's flagged.
Do I need to book flights or hotels before applying?
No — you don't need confirmed bookings to apply for the e-visa, though you will need to specify an intended entry port and travel dates on the application.
