Find Your ET Situation — Act on the Right Option
All times ET (Eastern). EDT = summer (UTC−4). EST = winter (UTC−5). Vietnam is 11h ahead of EDT, 12h ahead of EST — same cutoff hour applies either way. CT = ET−1h. MT = ET−2h. PT = ET−3h.

| 02:00 → 04:00 ET | 2.5-Hour | USD 155 | Early morning. For JFK/LAX early check-in. |

Govt pause 12:00–13:30 VNT (01:00–02:30 ET) — Boarding Letter bridge if check-in falls in this window. Speed Up (already submitted, USD 25 govt fee paid): 3-Day USD 65 / 1-Day USD 85 / 5-Hour USD 100 / 2.5-Hour USD 130 / 1-Hour USD 160. Multiple entry: add USD 25. 90-day same price as 30-day.
eVisa Already Submitted — Speed Up, Not Reapply
If already submitted on evisa.gov.vn and visa still shows Processing: check status at evisa.gov.vn/e-visa/search with Reference Code (format E260705...) and registered email before doing anything else.
Do not reapply under any circumstance.
Two applications with the same passport = 24–48 hour deduplication hold on both. Neither can be approved while the hold is active. This turns a recoverable situation into a missed flight.
Send these 4 items to WhatsApp +84 947 754 252:
| Reference Code | From post-payment email on evisa.gov.vn. Format: E260705... |
| Registered email | Email used when submitting on evisa.gov.vn |
| Flight number | Vietnam-landing flight code (e.g. KE651, UA869, DL281) |
| ET departure time | Check-in time or departure time, whichever is sooner, in ET |
| In Process | Application escalated on priority. No new govt fee. Boarding Letter as bridge in 30 min. |
| Amendment Required | Error found (ICN port, HEIC photo, missing name, wrong date). Free correction. Resubmitted priority. Boarding Letter as bridge. |
Three Things to Do the Moment You Apply
1. Check spam folder immediately
The eVisa PDF is sent to the email provided at application. Gmail, Yahoo, and Outlook frequently filter visa emails to spam or Promotions. Check every 15 minutes. Add support@vietnamvisaeasy.com to your safe sender list now.
2. Verify entry port from booking confirmation
Open flight confirmation. Find the Vietnam-landing segment. The "Arrives" IATA code is the entry port. JFK–ICN–SGN: entry port is SGN, not ICN. LAX–NRT–HAN: entry port is HAN, not NRT. ICN, NRT, SIN are transit hubs — never the entry port. Wrong port = Amendment Required, processing stops.
3. Save the PDF offline before leaving for the airport
eVisa PDF arrives by email. Save it to phone camera roll (not only email) so it is accessible offline at check-in. Some KE, VN, and UA counters at US airports prefer a printed copy — print one if departing from a business center airport.
Three Mistakes That Cause US Travelers to Miss the Window
| 1 | Missing middle name | US passports include middle names in the MRZ. Enter full legal name exactly as on bio-data page. "JOHN MICHAEL SMITH" not "JOHN SMITH". |
| 2 | Wrong arrival date | JFK–ICN–SGN departing Monday night arrives Wednesday morning VNT (date line + 2 transit days). Use Vietnam arrival date from booking, not US departure date. |
| 3 | Applying too close to cutoff | The 07:00 ET cutoff closes exactly at 18:00 VNT. Submitting at 06:58 ET leaves no buffer. Submit at least 15–20 minutes before cutoff. Contact WhatsApp first if under 30 minutes. |
