The short answer
If you have not yet applied, pick the tier that matches your hours before departure. If you have already submitted on evisa.gov.vn, use Speed Up — do not re-apply. A duplicate application creates a 24–48 hour hold on both records.
Fastest available: Emergency — 30 to 60 minutes, Monday–Friday only, cutoff 16:30 Vietnam Time.
Why Your Timeline Determines Everything
Vietnam eVisa processing is handled by the Vietnamese Immigration Department during weekday business hours — 08:00 to 11:30 and 13:30 to 18:00 Vietnam Time. When your flight is close, the only way to guarantee delivery is to match your remaining hours to the correct processing tier, and to choose the right path based on whether you have an existing application or not.
This page covers both paths: New Application (you have not yet submitted anything) and Speed Up (you applied on evisa.gov.vn but need the result faster). Read the decision guide below first, then find your tier in the pricing tables.
Timeline Decision Guide — Which Tier Do You Need?

Which Path Applies to You?
| Your situation | Correct action |
|---|---|
| I have NOT yet applied anywhere | New Application — select the tier that matches your timeline, then apply here. |
| I submitted on evisa.gov.vn and my status shows "Processing" | Speed Up — do not reapply. Contact us with your reference code (E260705…), registration email, and flight number to Vietnam. |
| I submitted on evisa.gov.vn and my status shows "Amending" | Speed Up — same as above. Reapplying while "Amending" creates a 24–48 hour hold on both records. |
| I already applied through another agency | Speed Up — contact us with your reference code. We can escalate regardless of which agency submitted your original application. |

Key Rules Before You Order
| Do not reapply if already submitted | Submitting a second application while the first is Processing or Amending creates a 24–48 hour hold on both records. Use Speed Up instead. |
| Emergency is Mon–Fri only | The Emergency tier (30–60 min) is unavailable on Saturday, Sunday, and Vietnamese public holidays. Use the Weekend / Holiday tier on those days. |
| Weekend tier is Sat / Sun / holidays only | The Weekend / Holiday tier does not apply on weekdays. On weekdays, select the 5-Hour, 2.5-Hour, 1.5-Hour, or Emergency tier instead. |
| Entry ports | Vietnam eVisa is valid only at SGN (Ho Chi Minh City), HAN (Hanoi), DAD (Da Nang), PQC (Phu Quoc), and CXR (Cam Ranh). Transit airports such as Singapore, Seoul, or Dubai are not valid entry points. |
| SGN pre-arrival declaration | Passengers arriving at Tan Son Nhat (Ho Chi Minh City) must complete a pre-arrival declaration at prearrival.immigration.gov.vn before their flight. Mandatory from April 15, 2026. |
| No refund guarantee | The USD 25 Vietnamese government fee is non-refundable under all circumstances. No refund guarantee is offered on agency fees. |
| Boarding Letter | If your airline requests documentation before your eVisa is finalized — or if your travel falls during the government's 12:00–13:30 VNT processing pause — a Boarding Letter can be issued in approximately 30 minutes, available 24/7. |

Apply NowFrequently Asked Questions
What is the fastest Vietnam eVisa option available?
The Emergency tier delivers in 30 to 60 minutes and is available Monday–Friday only, with a cutoff of 16:30 Vietnam Time. A new Emergency application costs USD 215. The Speed Up equivalent for an existing application is USD 190.
I already applied on evisa.gov.vn. Can I still get my visa faster?
Yes. Do not submit a new application — this triggers a 24 to 48 hour duplication hold on both records. Use the Speed Up service instead. You will need your reference code (format E260705…), your registration email, and your flight number to Vietnam.
Does the 2.5-Hour tier work on weekends?
No. The 2.5-Hour and 1.5-Hour tiers are available Monday to Friday only, with a cutoff of 16:30 Vietnam Time (09:30 GMT). On Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays, use the Weekend / Holiday tier instead.
What time is the cutoff for same-day processing in my time zone?
For the 2.5-Hour and 1.5-Hour tiers: 16:30 VNT equals 09:30 GMT, 10:30 CET, 04:30 EDT, 01:30 PDT, and 19:30 AEST. For the Weekend / Holiday tier, the cutoff is 15:00 VNT, which equals 08:00 GMT and 03:00 EDT.
Is Visa on Arrival still available for Vietnam?
Visa on Arrival is no longer a standard tourist option for most nationalities. The eVisa is the correct route. Apply through the official evisa.gov.vn portal or use our agency service for faster processing.
Does the USD 25 government fee apply to Speed Up orders?
No. The USD 25 government fee is already included in New Application prices and was already paid when you submitted your original application. Speed Up prices cover only the escalation fee.
Which airports can I enter Vietnam through on an eVisa?
eVisa holders may enter through Tan Son Nhat (SGN — Ho Chi Minh City), Noi Bai (HAN — Hanoi), Da Nang (DAD), Phu Quoc (PQC), and Cam Ranh (CXR) only. Transit airports such as Singapore, Seoul, or Dubai are not valid eVisa entry points.
I am flying into Ho Chi Minh City. Do I need to do anything extra?
Yes. Tan Son Nhat (SGN) requires a pre-arrival declaration at prearrival.immigration.gov.vn, mandatory from April 15, 2026. Complete this before your flight to avoid delays at immigration.
What is a Boarding Letter and when do I need one?
A Boarding Letter is an official confirmation document issued in approximately 30 minutes, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Airlines may request it at check-in before your eVisa is finalized. It also serves as a bridge during the Vietnamese government's processing pause between 12:00 and 13:30 Vietnam Time — your eVisa completes after 13:30.
Can I get a refund if my eVisa application is rejected?
No refund guarantee is offered. The USD 25 Vietnamese government fee is non-refundable under all circumstances. Agency fees may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. For this reason, it is important to select the correct tier before submitting.
