Vietnam Visa for Different Passports in One Group (2026 Guide)
By VietnamVisaEasy Visa Team · 2026-11-07

Booking a Vietnam visa for different passports in one family or group works differently from a single application, because speed and price depend on each passport, not on the order. This guide shows how that works in 2026, with real prices and worked examples.
Travelers often assume everyone in a group gets the same delivery time. That is not always possible. One passport in the group can change the options for that person, while everyone else keeps the speed you selected.
Can one order include a Vietnam visa for different passports?
Yes. You can put up to 10 applicants in one order, even when they hold different nationalities. You choose one processing speed for the order, and each passport then follows its own rule.
Most passports simply use the speed you picked. A small group of passports has limits, so those travelers may get a different speed and a different delivery time from the rest of the group.
Your order page lists every traveler separately, with the speed for that passport and the guaranteed delivery time once payment is complete. The slowest passport in the order is clearly marked.
Which passports have different rules?
We apply three rule groups. These are our service rules for 2026, and they apply per passport.
| Passport | Speeds available | Extra fee per passport |
|---|---|---|
| Most nationalities | All speeds, including Normal 4–6 working days | None |
| Algeria, Türkiye, Tunisia, Sri Lanka | Urgent speeds only, no Normal | US$30 |
| Mauritius, Egypt | Urgent 4 working days only | US$50 |
Some other passports must contact our team before applying. The form shows a clear notice when you select one of those nationalities, so you can message us on WhatsApp first.
How much does each speed cost?
These prices are per applicant for a new e-visa and include the government fee. A multiple-entry visa adds US$25 per applicant.
| Processing speed | Normal 4–6 working days | Urgent 4 working days | Urgent 3 working days | Urgent 2 working days | Urgent 1 working day | Urgent 5 working hours | Urgent 2.5 working hours | Urgent 1.5 working hours | Urgent 30–60 minutes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price per applicant | US$50 | US$70 | US$90 | US$100 | US$110 | US$125 | US$155 | US$185 | US$215 |
See the full breakdown in our Vietnam visa cost guide.
How is the total calculated for a mixed group?
Add up each passport separately: the price of the speed that passport receives, plus any extra passport fee.
Example 1: two travelers, Normal speed selected. A US passport holder stays on Normal at US$50. An Egyptian passport holder moves to Urgent 4 working days at US$70, plus US$50. The order total is US$170.
Example 2: three travelers, Urgent 5 working hours selected.
| Traveler | Speed received | Price | Extra fee | Subtotal |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| US passport | Urgent 5 working hours | US$125 | None | US$125 |
| Egyptian passport | Urgent 4 working days | US$70 | US$50 | US$120 |
| Turkish passport | Urgent 5 working hours | US$125 | US$30 | US$155 |
The order total is US$400. In this example the Egyptian traveler is the slowest passport, so plan the trip around that delivery time.
Why can visas in one order arrive on different days?
Each passport follows its own speed. In Example 2, two travelers could receive their e-visas within hours while the third receives it days later.
Government processing also follows working hours in Vietnam time (GMT+7): 08:00–11:30 and 13:30–18:30, Monday to Friday. Weekends and public holidays are not counted in working-day speeds.
Check these three things before you pay:
- Find the slowest passport in your group.
- Compare its delivery time with your flight date.
- If the timing is tight, apply earlier or message us on WhatsApp at +84 947 754 252.
Does each child in a mixed family need a separate e-visa?
Yes, if the child holds a separate passport. An e-visa is tied to one passport, so add each child as a separate traveler in your order, at any age.
The rule and price follow the child's own passport, not the parents'. A child with a different nationality from the parents may therefore receive a different speed or an extra fee. Read our guide to Vietnam e-visas for children before you apply.
What happens if something goes wrong?
Our guarantees apply to your order as follows:
- If your e-visa is not approved, we refund all fees you paid us, including the government fee.
- If we miss the guaranteed delivery time, we refund our service fee.
- If our team makes an error, we correct and resubmit your application free of charge.
We cannot guarantee approval, because the decision belongs to the Vietnamese authorities. Errors in information you provide are not covered, so check names and passport numbers carefully. Our e-visa requirements checklist helps you avoid common mistakes.

Per passport. It is US$30 for Algeria, Türkiye, Tunisia and Sri Lanka, and US$50 for Mauritius and Egypt.
