SIN and KUL Entry Port Error — Most Common Australian Mistake
Most Australian flights to Vietnam connect through Singapore Changi (SIN) via Singapore Airlines, Scoot, or Jetstar Asia — or through Kuala Lumpur (KUL) via AirAsia. The entry port on the Vietnam eVisa must show the Vietnamese airport where the plane lands. evisa.gov.vn accepts SIN and KUL without warning. Immigration review flags the mismatch, triggers Amendment Required, and stops processing completely with no email sent.
