Vietnam Visa Transparent Pricing — All Fees Explained (2026)

POSTED ON OCTOBER 22, 2026 BY Admin

Vietnam Visa Transparent Pricing — All Fees Explained (2026)

All-In Pricing — No Hidden Fees

Every price on this page includes the mandatory USD 25 Vietnamese government fee. What you see is what you pay — no extra processing fee, delivery fee, or admin charge at checkout.

Vietnam visa pricing is confusing because different websites show different numbers, often without explaining what is — and is not — included. This page sets out every fee, explains what each covers, and answers the most common pricing questions upfront. If you also want to understand what makes an agency reliable beyond pricing, see our guide on choosing a reliable Vietnam visa agency.

Complete Fee Table — All Processing Tiers

All prices below are in USD and include the mandatory USD 25 Vietnamese government fee. No additional fee is charged at checkout.

Tier Delivery time Total price Incl. govt fee Days / hours available
Standard 4–6 business days USD 50 Yes Mon–Fri (VN business days)
2.5-Hour approx. 2.5 hours USD 155 Yes Mon–Fri
1.5-Hour approx. 1.5 hours USD 185 Yes Mon–Fri
Emergency 30–60 minutes USD 215 Yes Mon–Fri — contact team first
Weekend / Holiday Same day USD 230 Yes Sat / Sun / public holidays — before 15:00 VNT

Emergency tier is Mon–Fri only. On weekends and public holidays, the Weekend/Holiday tier is the only same-day option. Contact the team first before applying for Emergency or Weekend processing to confirm a slot is available.

Visa Validity and Entry Type — What to Choose

When applying, you will be asked to choose a validity period (30 days or 90 days) and an entry type (single entry or multiple entry). Both choices affect your itinerary flexibility — and one of them adds to the total cost.

30-day vs 90-day validity — same price, always choose 90 days

The Vietnamese government charges the same USD 25 fee for a 90-day e-visa as for a 30-day e-visa. VietnamVisaEasy service fees are identical for both. There is no price saving by choosing the shorter validity — so always select 90 days. A 90-day visa used for a 10-day trip is still valid; a 30-day visa cannot be extended once you are in Vietnam without leaving and re-entering, and extension applications through the Department of Immigration take time you may not have.

Always select 90-day validity. The price is identical to 30 days. Choosing 30 days offers no cost saving and limits your flexibility if plans change.

Multiple entry — +USD 25 on any tier

Single entry is the default. If you choose multiple entry, the Vietnamese government charges an additional USD 25 on top of the standard USD 25 government fee — making the government fee component USD 50 total. This additional USD 25 is passed through at cost; there is no agency markup on it.

Entry type Government fee Standard tier total When to choose it
Single entry USD 25 USD 50 Vietnam-only trip, no side trips to neighbouring countries
Multiple entry USD 25 + USD 25 USD 75 You plan to exit Vietnam and re-enter (Cambodia, Laos, Thailand side trip, overland routes) within the same visa validity

Example: A traveller entering Ho Chi Minh City, crossing overland to Cambodia for three days, then returning to Vietnam needs multiple entry. A traveller flying into Hanoi, touring Vietnam for two weeks, and flying home directly needs single entry only.

If you are unsure whether your itinerary requires multiple entry, contact the team via WhatsApp before submitting. Changing entry type after approval requires a new application.

The USD 25 Vietnamese Government Fee Explained

The USD 25 is a mandatory fee charged by the Vietnamese government (via the evisa.gov.vn portal) for processing every e-visa application. It applies regardless of nationality, processing tier, or visa outcome.

Is the USD 25 fee refundable?

No. Once an application has been submitted to the Vietnamese government portal, the USD 25 fee is non-refundable — this is a Vietnamese government policy, not an agency decision. This is why it is important not to submit a duplicate application if yours is delayed: you would pay USD 25 again with no guarantee of a faster outcome, and would risk triggering a 24–48 hour hold on both files.

Is the USD 25 charged again for Speed Up?

No. Speed Up escalates your existing application — it does not create a new one. You do not pay the USD 25 government fee a second time. Speed Up fees (from USD 130) cover only the escalation service.

Does the government fee change if I choose a longer validity or multiple entry?

For validity (30 vs 90 days): no difference in cost. The USD 25 fee and the total price are identical — always select 90 days. For entry type: single entry uses the standard USD 25 government fee. Multiple entry adds a further USD 25 government surcharge (USD 50 total government fee), which is passed through at cost. Choose multiple entry only if your itinerary involves exiting and re-entering Vietnam within the same visa period.

Speed Up Pricing — Escalate an Existing Application

Speed Up is for applicants who have already submitted a Vietnam e-visa and need it approved faster. It escalates the existing file — no new application, no second USD 25 government fee. If your application is stuck in processing, Speed Up is the correct action — not a duplicate submission.

Speed Up tier Delivery Speed Up fee Includes USD 25 again? Available
2.5-Hour approx. 2.5 hours USD 130 No Mon–Fri
1.5-Hour approx. 1.5 hours USD 160 No Mon–Fri
Emergency 30–60 minutes USD 190 No Mon–Fri — contact team first
Weekend / Holiday Same day USD 210 No Sat / Sun / holidays — before 15:00 VNT

To use Speed Up, contact the team via WhatsApp with your reference code (E260705…) and the email used to register. Error checking before Speed Up escalation is free.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Understanding what can and cannot be refunded is part of transparent pricing. Here is how it works:

USD 25 government fee

Non-refundable once submitted to the Vietnamese government portal. This is a Vietnamese government policy that applies to all agencies — it cannot be waived or reversed.

Application not yet submitted

If you need to cancel before your application has been submitted to the government portal, contact the team via WhatsApp with your reference code. Cases where the application has not yet been submitted can be discussed for a partial service refund.

Application submitted — visa approved

Once a visa is approved and the PDF has been delivered, the application is complete and fees are not refundable. If you no longer need the visa (travel cancelled, plans changed), the approved visa simply goes unused — you do not need to cancel it.

Application submitted — visa not yet approved (processing)

Contact the team via WhatsApp with your reference code to discuss your situation. Each case is assessed individually. The USD 25 government fee component cannot be recovered from the Vietnamese government.

Important: Any agency promising a "100% refund" or "money-back guarantee" on Vietnam e-visa fees cannot deliver on this promise — the USD 25 Vietnamese government fee is non-refundable by government policy once submitted. Treat such claims as a red flag.

Why Prices Differ Between Vietnam Visa Agencies

All Vietnam e-visa agencies — regardless of price — submit through the same Vietnamese government portal (evisa.gov.vn) and pay the same mandatory USD 25 government fee. Price differences between agencies reflect the service layer built around that submission.

Price range What you typically get
USD 25 (government direct) No pre-submission review, no monitoring, no Speed Up, no agency support — you manage everything through the government portal yourself
USD 30–45 (low-end agencies) Basic form-fill service, email support only, often no pre-submission document check, limited or no urgent options
USD 50+ (full-service agencies) Document review, monitoring, WhatsApp support, Speed Up available for delayed files, urgent tiers from 2.5-Hour to Emergency, free error checking — the USD 25 government fee is included

Applying directly through the Vietnamese government portal at evisa.gov.vn is a valid option if you have sufficient time, all documents are correct, and you do not need a pre-flight support contact. A full-service agency adds value when time is short, documents need checking, or you need someone reachable if something goes wrong at the airport. If your visa hasn't arrived by departure day, a denied boarding situation can still be resolved — but only if you use an agency with Speed Up capability.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the USD 25 government fee cover?
The USD 25 is a mandatory fee charged by the Vietnamese government to process every e-visa application. It is included in all VietnamVisaEasy prices and is not charged separately. Once submitted to the government portal, this fee is non-refundable regardless of outcome.
Are there hidden fees on top of the published price?
No. The price shown for each tier is the total amount you pay. The USD 25 Vietnamese government fee is included. There is no separate processing fee, delivery fee, or admin charge added at checkout.
Does Speed Up charge the USD 25 government fee again?
No. Speed Up escalates your existing application to an urgent queue — no new application is created. You do not pay the USD 25 fee again. Speed Up fees are USD 130 (2.5-Hour), USD 160 (1.5-Hour), USD 190 (Emergency), or USD 210 (Weekend/Holiday).
What is the refund policy?
The USD 25 Vietnamese government fee is non-refundable once submitted — this is a Vietnamese government rule, not an agency choice. If you need to cancel before submission, contact the team via WhatsApp. For cancellations after submission, each case is assessed individually. Any agency claiming a "100% refund guarantee" on Vietnam visa fees cannot deliver on this, as the government fee cannot be recovered once submitted.
Why do other agencies charge less?
All agencies pay the same USD 25 government fee. Lower prices typically mean: no pre-submission document review, email-only support, no Speed Up option if your application is delayed, and no one reachable in an airport emergency. The difference is the service layer, not the visa itself.
Is there a price difference between 30-day and 90-day validity?
No. The Vietnamese government charges the same USD 25 fee for both, and VietnamVisaEasy service fees are the same regardless of validity chosen. Always select 90 days — there is no saving from choosing 30 days, and the longer validity gives you more flexibility if travel plans change.
How much does multiple entry cost, and do I need it?
Multiple entry adds USD 25 to the government fee (making it USD 50 total instead of USD 25). This applies across all processing tiers — a Standard multiple-entry application is USD 75 total instead of USD 50. Choose multiple entry only if your itinerary includes exiting Vietnam and re-entering during the same visa period — for example, a side trip to Cambodia or Laos and returning to Vietnam. If you are staying in Vietnam for the entire trip, single entry is sufficient.
Is error checking free even if I applied through a different agency?
Yes. Contact the team via WhatsApp with your reference code (E260705…) and the email used to register. The team can check the status and identify the issue at no charge. Speed Up escalation and any correction service are paid if required.
