Updated 6 October 2026 · VietnamVisaEasy
Standard processing is the most cost-effective Vietnam eVisa route: USD 50 all-in, government fee included, approved eVisa by email in 4–6 Vietnamese working days. Your application goes through a document check before submission, catching photo or date errors before they trigger a rejection. If travel is closer, faster tiers start from USD 90.

Already applied on evisa.gov.vn? Speed Up (escalates existing application, no second government fee): 3-Day USD 65 · 1-Day USD 85 · 5-Hour USD 100 · 2.5-Hour USD 110 · 1.5-Hour USD 160 · Weekend USD 210 · Emergency 30–60 min USD 190.
What the USD 50 Fee Covers
The standard fee is not a simple portal pass-through. Before anything is submitted to the Vietnamese government portal, a staff member reviews your passport scan for quality and validity, your photo against official requirements, your entry date for feasibility, and your entry airport for eligibility. Errors caught at this stage cost nothing to fix. Errors that reach the portal can trigger a rejection where the USD 25 government fee is lost.
Once submitted, your case enters the Vietnamese Immigration Department queue. Processing runs Monday to Friday, 08:00–11:30 and 13:30–18:00 Vietnam time (GMT+7). The 12:00–13:30 midday break means submissions during lunch are held until the afternoon session. Weekends and Vietnamese public holidays are not counted in the 4–6 working day estimate.
Your approved eVisa arrives by email as a PDF with QR code. Print it or save it to your phone. Present it at the immigration counter at your entry airport — Tan Son Nhat (SGN), Noi Bai (HAN), Da Nang (DAD), Phu Quoc (PQC), or Cam Ranh (CXR). Entry through connecting airports such as Singapore Changi, Incheon, or Dubai is not permitted with a Vietnam eVisa alone.
SGN pre-arrival declaration — mandatory since 15 April 2026
All passengers entering through Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) must complete the pre-arrival health and customs declaration at prearrival.immigration.gov.vn before departure. This is a Vietnamese government requirement separate from your eVisa application.
Choosing Between Standard and Faster Tiers
Standard processing (4–6 working days) is appropriate when travel is at least 10 calendar days away. That buffer absorbs the full six-day maximum plus a weekend. If you are departing in 7–9 days, the 3-Day tier at USD 90 provides a safer margin. For travel within 7 days, choose same-day or faster.
If your application is already in the Vietnamese government portal — showing a status of Processing or Amending — do not start a new application. A duplicate causes a 24–48 hour administrative hold on both submissions. Use Speed Up service instead, which escalates your existing case without a second government fee. Validity and Multiple Entry
You choose validity at application: 30 days or 90 days — same price for standard processing. Single entry is default. Multiple entry (unlimited entries within the validity window) adds USD 25. The eVisa start date is your chosen Vietnam arrival date, not the application date. Entering Vietnam before the start date is not permitted.
Vietnam eVisa covers all nationalities not exempt from visas and not excluded from the eVisa system. British / UK passport holders are visa-exempt for 45 days and do not need an eVisa for stays up to 45 days.
