Direct answer

Vietnam eVisa government fee 2026: USD 25 single entry • USD 50 multiple entry. Valid up to 90 days. Set by Circular 28/2026/TT-BTC, effective April 1, 2026. Non-refundable. 30-day and 90-day same price — always choose 90 days.

Agency processing at VietnamVisaEasy (government fee included): USD 90 standard 3-Day • USD 110 1-Day • USD 125 5-Hour • USD 155 2.5-Hour • USD 185 1-Hour • USD 230 Weekend.

UK, EU, Japan, Korea: visa-exempt 45 days — no fee, no application. Speed Up existing application from USD 65.

VietnamVisaEasy • Updated August 5, 2026 • Processing experience since 2010. All USD prices include the government fee unless noted as Speed Up. Multiple entry: add USD 25 to single-entry price at all tiers.

Government Fee: What You Pay on evisa.gov.vn

The Vietnam eVisa government fee is set by the Ministry of Finance and applies uniformly to all nationalities. As of April 1, 2026 under Circular 28/2026/TT-BTC:

eVisa type Government fee Validity Notes
Single entry USD 25 30 or 90 days Same price for 30-day and 90-day. Always choose 90 days.
Multiple entry USD 50 30 or 90 days Recommended for visa run re-entry or multi-country SE Asia trips.
Refund policy Non-refundable once submitted. Fee is lost if application is rejected, delayed, or traveler cancels. Verify all details before paying.

Payment on evisa.gov.vn: USD amount converted to Vietnamese Dong (VND) at the point of payment. International Visa or Mastercard required. UnionPay, PayPal, bank transfer not accepted on the government portal.

Why 30-day and 90-day cost the same

The government fee is not based on duration — it is based on entry type (single or multiple). A 30-day single-entry costs the same as a 90-day single-entry. There is no reason to choose 30 days. Always select 90 days for maximum flexibility at no extra cost.

Agency Pricing at VietnamVisaEasy — All Tiers

Agency pricing includes the government fee. One payment, no separate government fee at checkout. All tiers include document checking, entry port verification, and 24/7 WhatsApp support.

Common Questions About Vietnam Visa Cost

How much does a Vietnam visa cost in 2026?
Government fee: USD 25 single entry, USD 50 multiple entry — valid up to 90 days. Agency processing (VietnamVisaEasy, fee included): from USD 90 standard 3-Day to USD 185 urgent 1-Hour. UK/EU/Japan/Korea: free for stays up to 45 days (visa-exempt).
Is the Vietnam visa fee refundable?
Government fee (USD 25/50): non-refundable once submitted, regardless of outcome. VietnamVisaEasy service fee: full refund if eVisa not delivered by agreed deadline. Do not pay the government fee until all details are double-checked.
Do children need to pay a separate Vietnam visa fee?
Yes. Each child with their own passport must submit a separate eVisa application at full fee (USD 25 single or USD 50 multiple). No child discount or family rate. Do not attach a child to a parent's application — it corrupts both files.
What payment methods are accepted for Vietnam eVisa?
Government portal (evisa.gov.vn): international Visa or Mastercard credit/debit card only. Amount charged in VND. UnionPay, PayPal, bank transfer, cash, UPI not accepted on the government portal. VietnamVisaEasy: additional payment options available via WhatsApp — contact +84 947 754 252.
How much does an urgent Vietnam visa cost?
New application (govt fee included): 3-Day USD 90 • 1-Day USD 110 • 5-Hour USD 125 • 2.5-Hour USD 155 • 1-Hour USD 185 • Weekend USD 230. Speed Up (already applied on evisa.gov.vn): 3-Day USD 65 • 1-Day USD 85 • 5-Hour USD 100 • 2.5-Hour USD 130 • 1-Hour USD 160 • Weekend USD 210.
Do UK and EU citizens pay for a Vietnam visa?
No — for stays up to 45 days. UK and EU passport holders are visa-exempt for 45 days. No fee, no application, no cost. If staying longer than 45 days: eVisa required (USD 25 single or USD 50 multiple) applied before the exemption expires. UK visa guide →
Why is the agency fee higher than the government fee?
The government fee pays for the visa. The agency service fee pays for: document checking before submission (catching HEIC photos, wrong entry ports, missing middle names before they trigger Amendment Required), priority processing tiers not available on evisa.gov.vn, 24/7 WhatsApp support, free error correction if something goes wrong, and a full refund guarantee if the deadline is missed. For travelers with 2+ weeks lead time and a USD card, self-apply on evisa.gov.vn is cheaper. For last-minute applications, uncertain applications, or travelers routed through ICN/SIN/DXB, agency processing prevents costly errors.
