How to Check Vietnam eVisa Status — Step by Step
Four Statuses Explained in Detail
Approved
The eVisa is approved and ready to download. Download PDF directly from evisa.gov.vn/e-visa/search — the approval email is not required. Before going to the airport, verify three things:
| Full name | Matches passport MRZ exactly — all middle names, no initials |
| Entry port | Vietnamese airport where plane lands: SGN, HAN, DAD, PQC, or CXR — never SIN, ICN, NRT, KUL |
| Entry date | Vietnam arrival date from booking confirmation — not home departure date |
In Process
Application is running in the standard queue. Normal processing time is 3–5 Vietnamese business days (Monday–Friday 08:00–18:00 GMT+7, excluding weekends and holidays). Count real working days, not calendar days. If more than 5 real working days have passed, the status may have silently switched to Amendment Required — check again carefully. If flight is within 3 days, Speed Up via WhatsApp from USD 65.
Amendment Required
Immigration review found an error. Processing has stopped completely. No email is sent. The five most common errors:

Three causes: (1) Wrong Reference Code — must start with E (E260705...), not a transaction ID. (2) Wrong email — try all addresses used, it is case-sensitive.
